Learning Community

Mistwood Educational Center is excited to introduce the Mistwood Learning Community, a flexible “tutoring” program designed to support learners beyond traditional enrollment. Whether you're a homeschooling family, independent study family, or a student attending another public or private school, our Learning Community offers valuable resources and opportunities.

Members of the Mistwood Learning Community gain access to our Friday Learning Hub (from 10am-1:30pm), where they can receive personalized homework help, tutoring, enrichment activities and engage in educational activities tailored to their needs. Additionally, members have the option to audit up to 4 of our weekly classes, enriching their learning experience with topics that align with their individual interests and educational goals.

Please note that while the Mistwood Learning Community offers tutoring support and enrichment, Mistwood is NOT the school of record for these members (If you are interested in our comprehensive school, please see here).Mistwood Learning Community does not provide transcripts or report cards, but we are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and collaborative environment where learners can thrive. Additionally, we are not a Charter School vendor and cannot accept charter school funds at this time. 

This program provides an excellent opportunity for families seeking additional academic support, enrichment, and connection in a community-driven educational setting.
