A HyperDoc is anything but a document with hyperlinks in it!
There are clear sections that help frame children's learning and give them every opportunity to give them a voice and a opportunities to be heard by their peers. These sections are Engage, Explore, Explain, Apply, Share, Reflect and Extend. The aim of these sections is to develop children's critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Come up with an activity that activates students prior knowledge. Get them to share what they already know about something with an audience. You can do this by using a Padlet.
Engage the children in the new part of learning by incorporating an activity that allows students to explore resources. This could be a series of links or a Wakelet board.
Get the children to collaborate on their work with peers in the classroom or ever better - around the world! BookCreator is great for this - Many children can work together on one book. OR offer them a choice of tool and they can do what they want.
After they have created their work, children should reflect on their work with an audience in mind. Their reflections can be recorded as a Flipgrid - great for hearing each individual voice.

There are not strictly HyperDocs, but another way of giving children a choice of what they do and how they do it. This works great with younger children.
