2 pm - 8th Grade Promotion
4 pm - High School Graduation
Our 8th grade promotion ceremony will take place at 2 pm directly followed by our high school graduation at 4 pm. Please understand that high school families will not be admitted to the event space until after the 8th-grade promotion ceremony. Thank you for your patience.
You must RSVP to participate in this event.
** See tickets and seating below for important details
We will have a professional photographer at the event to capture the special moments of the day. There will be a professional photo booth set up where you can take a posed family or student portrait. We will also have a selfie station on site so you can capture the more candid moments of your student's special day. We will provide the props--you provide the smiling faces and cell phones!
No flash photography allowed during the ceremony, please. The purchase of professional photos is the responsibility of the family and is not included in the event.
Detailed information, including pricing, can be found on the photographer's website link below.
Cap and Gown Color: Black
Tassel Color: Jostens Ming and White
Click here for cap and gown ordering information
Caps and Gowns ordered from Jostens will be shipped directly to students. Be sure to bring it to graduation. If purchasing a cap and gown presents a financial burden, please let your HST know. Graduates will pick up their awards/cords at the awards table next to the check-in table.
Students may decorate their caps however decorations may not hang off the sides of the cap. Do not attach large decorations that may impede the view of the students behind you. Graduation caps must not have any advertisements, symbols, words, or slogans conveying messages inappropriate at a dignified commencement ceremony. If you have questions about your cap decor, please check with your HST. If your cap is deemed inappropriate, you will be asked to replace it with a new one.
8th-grade students do not wear a cap and gown.
Students will receive an empty diploma cover at the ceremony. 12th grade diplomas will be mailed to the address on file in late June, after verification of graduation requirements has been completed. Please verify your address is correct in Pathways with your HST prior to going on summer break!
If a high school student has earned a graduation cord (Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, Cum Laude, Golden State Merit, Seal of Biliteracy, or CTE), they can pick up their award(s) at the awards table at graduation at no cost to the student.
8th-grade certificates may be picked up at the check-in table.
Families will be granted entrance to the event as a group of up to 5 people once they have arrived and are ready to check in. There will be no tickets or wristbands distributed in advance and families should enter all at once when their group has gathered.
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to accommodate the check-in process and proceed to the check-in line once your party of no more than 5 is gathered and ready to enter. Additional guests beyond 5 or those who come after the initial party is granted entrance to the event are welcome to line up in the will-call area and that line will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis to fill any empty seats 10 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. We will do our best to accommodate all who wish to be present for graduation/promotion but cannot guarantee seating beyond 5 seats per graduate.
Guests, please arrive on time and be mindful of other guests and the reserved seat sections when taking your seats. We will be asking guests to fill the rows from the middle out to accommodate all in attendance. We will have ushers there to help and ask that you be flexible as we aim to make this event an enjoyable one for all! Please understand that 12th-grade families will not be able to enter the event site until after the 8th-grade promotion is finished. Thank you for understanding!
