Ignite Learning (Coming Soon!)

Ignite Learning Program

Ignite Learning (formerly called Space Academy) is an opportunity for MVA students to explore learning through our virtual grade-level classes and extracurricular classes. Our Mission Vista teachers will be teaching our Synchronous Instruction through our Ignite Learning program. Grade-level-specific classes include Math and Language Arts. We also offer a variety of enrichment classes.  The classes are free for all, no sign-ups are necessary and last just 30 minutes.

We offer a specialized online subscription package (OSP) to all of our families!

All students will receive a grade-level subscription package. Families will not be required to opt-in or opt-out; the subscriptions will automatically be set up with the student's school email address.

• 3rd - 8th Grade: Sora Digital Library, IXL & IXL Spanish and Generation Genius

“I Can Statements” will help to identify the learning goals for your child for their grade level.  At each learning period meeting, we will work together to identify which I Can Statements your child will be learning during each learning period.

"I Can" Checklist & Resource page

STAR 360 is a quick online assessment that students will complete at the beginning of the school year or within 2 weeks for new enrollments. You will receive an email with all the needed information once the assessment window is ready to be administered.

You will take this at the BEGINNING of the year, MIDDLE of the year, and again at the END of the year.
