Competitive Universities are looking for students to express their academic passion in unique ways.

Mission High School T-STEM Academy will provide the basis for this standard by:

• Exposing students to STEM Careers

• Field trips, summer camps, visiting speakers, etc.

• TSI (Texas Success Initiative) preparation and examination

Unless exempt, students who are entering a Texas college or university must take a TSI exam and receive a passing score in order to enroll in credit bearing courses.

• Providing opportunities for College Credit

Mission High School T-STEM students will take dual enrollment courses via

• South Texas Community College

• University of Texas OnRamps Courses

• Advance Placement (AP) courses
