The Global Art Residency Program is a cultural exchange platform designed to bridge international creative communities, with a distinct focus on supporting and amplifying Latino artists. Through research and production residencies, the program provides creators with the time, space, and network necessary to deepen their transdisciplinary practices.
Past Editions | 2025 & 2026 | Bangkok, Thailand
Centered on in-situ research, the foundational chapters in Bangkok brought Mexican artists to Thailand for month-long residencies. The 2025 edition featured artists Gilda Medina and Gabriel Garza García, who concluded their research and production period with the exhibition Landscape Heritage at Art4C Art Centre. The 2026 edition featured transdisciplinary artist Leonardo Guerra, continuing the program's mission to allow creators to engage critically with local communities and expand the boundaries of their practice within a dynamic global archipelago.
