The Misfit Art Alliance is the artistic and cultural heartbeat of Misfit. Born from our love of collaboration and creativity, it exists to support, produce, and promote art in all its forms—artist residencies and exhibitions, books and critical publications, fashion, music, suppers, and other culinary experiences (including our beloved La Sobremesa)—all over the world.

Our mission is simple: to create opportunities for creative people. We open doors for collaboration—connecting artists with cultural managers, publishers, galleries, and institutions that help bring bold ideas to life.

AJ León and Henry Eric Hernández co-founded the Misfit Art Alliance in the Spring of 2025. After several collaborations, they decided to create a platform to amplify independent creative voices and serve as an international artistic and cultural heartbeat for boundary-pushing projects.
