Develops a diverse collection that supports curriculum as well as student choice
The library orders all books using scholarly book journal reviews, and then takes into consideration the student population to create a collection that is reflective of the needs of our school community. Here is this year's collection report.
We weeded the 900 section of the library for outdated and books not checked out in 5 years.
We ask our teachers during PLCs to recommend books for the library to buy in support of their curriculum.
We also have a Library Book Request survey for students & staff to voice their needs.
