About the Mansfield ISD Fine Arts Academies
The Mansfield ISD Fine Arts Academies utilize an arts integration framework originally designed by Harvard's Project Zero and The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Our unique Mansfield ISD Arts Integration Model applies three layers of arts integration into all classrooms across our academies. Based on the Studio Habits of Mind, our directors implement arts integration based instructional strategies into their classrooms, as well as, arts enhanced real-world scenarios. With our innovative schedule, our core and fine arts create multiple arts-integration lessons per six weeks that equally emphasize and measure mastery in artistic skills and core concepts. We take pride in our ability to give artists opportunities to imagine solutions, create unique work and express original thought in all classes.
