Welcome to a new week of Boren P.E.! Also make sure you submitting your P.E. minutes every Friday. Coach Gaston also uploaded a new workout video. We can't wait to see what you chose to participate in this week.
The state mandates that our students in grades K-4 are involved in 135 minutes of physical activity a week.
Listed below are ways to accomplish this. I have choice links for your students to participate in below. Students may also receive credit in Mrs. Carney's music class when movement is included in the lesson.
The google form must be turned in weekly for your child to receive full credit for their PE grade.

Welcome to your virtual gym!
This is your virtual gym, if you hover your mouse over the power point, an arrow in a box will pop up in the upper right hand corner and you will click that to expand the power point. In the power point, on each slide, there is a white board that has all instructions for that page. On the third slide, there is our google form for you to track your minutes, a video of Coach Gaston and Coach Avery explaining how the power point will work and a video of Coach Avery explaining and walking through the stretches. On the fourth slide there is four different things the students can choose from. They can click on Coach Gaston to go to his youtube library of workouts. They can click on Coach Avery which will take them to a list of activities that they can do on their own or get the whole family involved. They can click on the "Let's Get Groovy" slide to take them to a video library of many options for them to choose from. They do not have to participate in each dancing video, it is just to give them options. And finally they can choose to workout on their own which can included any sports, going for a walk, karate, swimming, etc.
