Guidance Curriculum: Our character program is provided by Core Essentials. We want each student to feel safe, accepted, and loved so they can be successful in the classroom. Our character education program is research based and strives to bring each student closer to maximizing their individual strengths.
BEAR :
#Shoutouts: (IDEA only) When our students go above and beyond to help others and show kindness, they can be recognized by receiving a #shout out. This is done by the teacher filling out a form that includes the students name and teacher, along with the act(s) that the student has done to show that they have done something that is deserving of a shout out by administration. They will receive their #shoutout on the MJH Facebook page. We love to recognize as many students as we can for showing good character throughout the year.
Individual Guidance: Individual student support as needed. Students may be referred to counselor by parent/guardian or staff member.
