I grew up in the Kilgore/Liberty City area of East Texas. I learned to play football with only 5 people, swim in the Sabine River, and how to get away from angry bulls.
I graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1991. It's also where I met my lovely wife. We got married in November of 1993 and then proceeded to move all over Texas (8 times in the next 10 years).
We have 2 kids (because after that, you're outnumbered). Lauren is in college and Ryan is a sophomore at Heritage.
My passions are teaching, reading, board games, and the Green Bay Packers (NOT necessarily in that order).
Thanks for taking a moment to find out a little about me. Now buckle up for your best year yet!
