Your Challenge

As a library helper, you are a trusted resource for staff and students. During one of your library shifts a student comes to you and confides that he has lost three of his library book and needs your help finding them. You decide the right thing to do is to help and ask where he last saw the books, hoping this will help him remember where he left them.

He tells you that he woke up and came to school, but he left his backpack at home because it was a testing day. He knows he brought his books to school though because he remembers his testing teacher asking him to put them down under his desk. He fell asleep after his test and forgot to get his books. When he came back, the books were gone. Deciding the books could be anywhere, you ask what the titles of the books are. He tells you that he had one copy of Matched, Crossed, and Reached by Ally Condie. So to begin your search, you decide to check the online library catalog. Little did you know the adventure this would create!
