When the world began to shift indoors, our classroom was reduced into our computer screens. Most of us misses the collaborative space and atmosphere we had at school. Despite that, this doesn't stop our passion for art. Our online meetings are commonly used to give each other feedback and inspire one another. Though there are barriers that keep us apart, we still share one heart as the IBDP VA 2021 class.
"I feel like virtual art classes aren’t as effective as real life classes. As I feel like although the Ms. Juni is well prepared each class, its still better to meet as she can demonstrate in real life and see what we are working with directly. Personally I miss not being able to talk to my friends while doing art which is a big part of my art making process"

"Having art class online has minimized my source of motivation and inspiration. Due to the ongoing pandemic, I was unable to go outside and enjoy the process of making art like I used to in the past. With that said, however, I am grateful to have an amazing teacher that constantly motivates us to create the best artwork we possibly could. And with the help of my teacher and friends, I was able to regain my excitement to produce artworks that I am proud of. "

"For me, doing art at home is both a pleasure and a struggle. I enjoy the private space, letting me have some time alone to think and not comparing my art to others. But i really miss the joy of creating art with my friends and how we would help each other out to have the best outcome of each of our works!! :)"
