Welcome to Minneola Charter Pre-K Class!
Our objective is to become a functional member of the classroom community as we learn social distancing as best we can and begin to learn and develop social and emotional skills. It is my goal to inspire and encourage, and build positive self-esteem through mastery of skills and begin with fun ways to develop mathematical and literacy concepts in developmentally appropriate ways.

About me
I have been a proud member of the Minneola Mustang family for over 15 years. Fourteen of those years were spent in the first grade and 2 years in kindergarten. Prior to teaching at Minneola, I had the pleasure of teaching in various levels and styles of schools; including but not limited to Montessori, Charter and Public schools. In my teaching career I have taught all across the United States and even spent some time teaching overseas in Naples, Italy.
I am a proud mother of two wonderful children who have given me two grandchildren and two grand-dogs. My daughter Sheila and her family reside on the Pacific Northwest in Monroe, Washington and my son with his wife live right "down the road" in Tampa, Florida.
My husband is an accomplished Veteran of the US Navy having served for 20 years and now works as a Cytologist here in Clermont, Florida.
Teaching is my passion and life's work. I look forward to have the pleasure of helping guide your children as they learn through play!
