Class overview - Band
Band encompases three different levels. All first year students are required to take Beginning Band. All other students will be placed in a class based on instrument or ability.
Students will learn modern wind band techniques in all classes. During the year, there will be time to explore improvisation, composition, and broad musical principles. After school rehearsals and performances are graded events.
About me
Mr. Roberts grew up in Maryland and graduated from Towson University. After spending 22 years in the Military, he began a career in teaching. He is married to Andrea Roberts and has two daughters.

Please stay up to date on events. Prior to performances and events, Mr. Roberts relies on the below sites to pass time sensitive information. Parents joining Facebook close to an event may not get all information.

As part of Band (wind instruments) we studied Bernoulli's Principle.
The Open Band Room allows students to get extra help. Dates are on the Band Calendar.
Students may ask for after school help whenever they need.
