Mrs. Mccrea
Welcome to Kindergarten!
My name is Mrs. Becky McCrea and I am so excited to be your Kindergarten teacher this year! This will be my 16th year with Minneola Charter School specializing in primary grades and my 5th year as a Kindergarten teacher.
I have my bachelors degree from the University of Central Florida "Charge On!" and my associates degree from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville. I also attended the University of Florida. I have my Reading and ESOL Endorsements.
I am originally from Pittsburgh PA "Go Steelers!!" and have been married to Doug McCrea for the past 27 years. We have a son, Brendan who just recently graduated from the University of Central Florida as well.
In my spare time I like to travel, read, watch movies, ride horses, create stained glass pieces, swim and kayak. I cannot wait to spend this year learning and growing with your child this year. Remember, the key to their success in the classroom is enhanced by the consistent practice both at home and in school. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
