Class overview
Welcome to your 3rd grade class. My name is Ms. Giraldo and I am going to be your 3rd grade teacher this year. The objective for this school year is to increase your reading comprehension and gain a better understand of the content you are reading and really dig deeper to encourage thought provoking questions. You will also gain a solid understanding of mathematical concepts such as 3-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping, area, perimeter, multiplication and division. The expectation is inspiration and encouragement. Our class will be a very supportive environment where we can share ideas and learn from one another. My hope is that we will work together this school year to learn and grow.

Dear Parents & Students:
My name is Stephanie Giraldo and I would like to welcome you to the 3rd Grade! I hope that all of you are as excited about the upcoming school year as I am. I have lots of fun learning activities planned and I can’t wait to get to know each of you better. I have had a variety of experiences from teaching preschool to high school. I am a certified Primary age 3 – 6th grade Teacher, I am ESE certified, ESOL certified and Reading Endorsed. This will be my seventh year at Minneola Charter and I am thrilled to be teaching the 3rd Grade again.
Not only am I an educator, but I am a mom of two wonderful children who also attend Minneola Charter. When I am not at school, I love to cook, garden and spend time with my family. I look forward to learning and growing with your child throughout the school year.
