This year marks my 24th year not only teaching in Lake County, Florida, but all at Minneola Charter. Since that time, I have produced over 150 grade level children musicals. In 2009, I was honored to receive Teacher of the Year by my peers. A graduate from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!), I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education K-6 in addition to a K-12 Music Certification. With a background in community theater and singing performance, I have also sung in an 18 piece professional jazz ensemble, a Barbershop Quartet, and I sing Sinatra gigs throughout Central Florida wine bars, clubs, and retirement homes.
My students have sung at Downtown Clermont First Friday, The Orlando Magic, The Atlanta Braves, The Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, and Walt Disney World, just to name a few. My grade level musicals have also been performed at the Clermont Arts & Recreation Center.
