The Robo Sharks Awarded for Core Values

At the Long Island Qualifier, they were awarded the Core Values Award which, according to First goes to the team that

“Displays extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit, knows they can accomplish more together than they could as individuals, and shows each other and other teams respect at all times."

What is FIRST?

The FIRST Lego League Challenge is an international competition organized by FIRST for elementary and middle school students. Each year in August, FIRST Lego League Challenge teams are introduced to a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus and research on.

In the 2024-25 season: SUBMERGED℠ Season, we had four FIRST LEGO League teams who used creative thinking and LEGO® technology to explore the layers of the ocean and bring their learnings and ideas to the surface as they “sea” into the future.
