This area is a work in progress.
In creating the template section, we have located so many templates we want to share that it has been very difficult to organize all of them. These templates have been created by teachers to use in their classroom and they are sharing these with teachers nation wide. What that means to you is that some of the links will not work as they go to files restricted to their school district. It also means they may not meet the TEKs requirement for Texas and they may not be as rigorous as you need for a full lesson.
Now that you know the issues, here is the good news. The basic template has been created and you only need to tweak it to meet your needs. You may find a template that works for a piece of your lesson and will allow you to incorporate it into other activities giving the full lesson the rigor it needs. We are here to assist you with this process, so feel free to ask any one of us for help.
We would like to share a template you have created with us, please submit it here.
Before using a template:
It is important to check all links and adjust any that need adjusting. Sometimes websites change and links are no longer live and sometimes the links go to files that are restricted.
Some links will go to School District Google Drive links shared with the public. If you find a file you want to use, you will need to view the file and go to "File" and make a copy of the template in order to use it.
Some links will go to view only files. You will need to make a copy by going to "File" and make a copy in order to use it.
Some links will go to a template view. You will need to select "Use Template" in order to create your template.
Please do not hesitate to email us if you have any questions or need and assistance.
