"Virtual Mindfulness Room"

Welcome to our "Virtual Mindfulness Room." You're in the right spot for some mindfulness practices. Take a deep breath, check-in with yourself and notice what you need in this moment. Would you like a calming or uplifting mindful moment? Click on on what best suits your needs in this moment: "Calming" or "Uplifting"

The offerings will be regularly updated on both of the Calming and Uplifting pages.

Having a daily mindfulness practice is much like practicing free throws. When we practice consistently, we build our muscle memory to access tools to help us when stressful situations arise.

Daily Practice

Having a daily practice (even just 5-10 minutes a day) is incredibly powerful and helps us deal with everyday stressors with more clarity. Below are some resources to help with daily practice.

  • Suggested Daily Practice

    • Check-in, recommended activities to meet you where you're at in this moment and a closing check-in.

  • Physical & Mental Health Menu / Menú de salud Mental y Física

    • A template to help plan a "menu" for your physical and mental health care for the week. Shout out to Guerrero-Thompson 4th & 5th grade teachers for the Spanish translation.

  • Yoga w/ Adriene: Breath--A 30 Day Yoga Journey (NEW)

    • Austin's own Adriene is back with her newest 30 Day Yoga Journey, Breath. She does this at the start of every year. It's entirely FREE and for ALL levels. More from Adriene...A daily practice can be one of the strongest guiding forces that lead us toward healing and growth on our journey. It can serve as a real tangible pathway toward optimal physical, mental, and emotional health. A road back to our true self, it can serve as a way to release anxiety and feel confident in our bodies.
