Students will periodically have homework assignments in Music First.

Music First is a program that records students playing their instrument. 

• • After recording, it grades them based on note and timing accuracy

These assignments will facilitate practice and help students successfully build their skills

Students will have a week to complete the assignment after it has been assigned

• • They will likely need to be practiced throughout the week (plan at least three days)

  • We recommend only recording 5 times per practice session to avoid frustration and allow time for growth
