Mr. Nelson

Biography:

I have been teaching band and beginning band since 1992 and have been at Pulaski since 2013. My main instrument is the trumpet and I do play in different groups throughout the year. Currently I am playing in two groups. One group is a college student/adult band that meets in the evening during the college semester where there is a performance at the end of each semester. The other group is a big band similar to the 1930's dance/jazz bands. This group meets during the summer and has about six performances during the summer months.

I am married and have two children. My daughter has recently graduated from college and my son is in his third year. I like a lot of things outside. Now that the house is more empty my wife and I like to find places where we can hike, bike or kayak during the summer or snowshoe and cross country ski in the winter.
