Biography:

I became a teacher because I always loved to read. From a very early age, my mother instilled a love of reading and writing which I still carry to this day. I have been good at sports since I was young, particularly football and baseball. More so than playing sports, my real passion is coaching sports and training athletes. When I graduated from high school, I chose to begin my career as a youth football coach. While I was born in 1981, Coach C. emerged in 2000 and is going strong.

I have been a teacher in MPS for 17 years. I began my teaching / coaching career at Milwaukee Custer High School. I am celebrating my 14th year teaching at Pulaski High School -- the greatest school with the best staff and the best students!

I have three children (2 girls and 1 boy). My daughter is a basketball player and my son plays baseball. My youngest girl is just learning how to throw a softball. I LOVE music -- along with The Beatles, I am a hardcore Prince fan and have ALL his records. My favorite rappers include LL Cool J, 50 Cent, and Tech N9ne.......My favorite author is Edgar Allan Poe. One of my other favorite writers is Stanley "Tookie" Williams, the author of Blue Rage, Black Redemption.
