Biography:

  • I am from Guanica, Puerto Rico. I wanted to be a doctor since young. I started that path in college, I hold a bachelor's degree in Biology. During that time, I was always the one explaining my colleagues the lessons, tutoring others and I noticed they were successful. The people I taught were getting better grades than me. It suddenly, clicked, I could do this. Seeing the students succeed, witnessing the breakthroughs they make is what I deeply enjoy most of teaching.

  • I have been working in Milwaukee Public Schools since 1999. I have been at Pulaski for the past 6 years. I consider myself honored at Pulaski. We have an unique program. We are the only High School in the state offering IB MYP to the Bilingual Students. The IB Framework allows the student to problem solve, collaborate and become a truly lifelong learner.

  • Being an educator means a lot to me. However, my culture and sense of community is a fundamental part of my identity. I am family man. My family is my rock. Also, growing up in Puerto Rico, I learned baseball and Volleyball. The volleyball was my favorite, and I consider myself decent player. My science background has never leave me, I loved to read science articles and my favorite subject still Biology.

My father taught me:
