Biography:

• I started my teaching career in Phoenix, Arizona through Teach for America. It was an instant perfect fit and I knew that special education was my calling as soon as those first students entered my room.

• I have been at Pulaski since I made my way back to Wisconsin in 2002. I spent the first ten years here as a cross categorical special education teacher and have been our department's transition coordinator for the past eight years.

• My favorite things to do when I'm not at school are: spend quality time with my family and pets (two doodle doggies and one very large cat); get outside to walk, jog, hike, or kayak; make delicious and healthy foods; eat desserts; and travel to new places.

• My favorite book is A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. I love fictional books that take me to a brand new environment where I fall in love with the author's strong and complex characters.
