What does that guy do around here?!?

That's a great question!

I have a lot of different hats in the Pulaski Community.

  • This year, I am teaching one section of Earth Science. If you want to see my Earth Science page, please click the Earth Science link at the top of this webpage.

  • My main job is as the Testing Coordinator. I make sure that all students take whatever school-wide tests that they are supposed to take (STAR, ACT, ACT Aspire, etc.)

  • I also help out the Guidance Department to make sure all the teachers and students have schedules and that the schedules are correct.

  • I have a passsWhen the school needs data collected, I often help out with that. You may often find me in the hallway helping keep the hallways clear during the school year.

Biography:

  • I have been a teacher since 2003. I started at Vincent High School, but I have been here for more than 10 years. I'm starting to lose count. I taught Science and PLTW, but for the last 3+ years, I have been doing my current job. I'm really excited about the direction that Pulaski is heading!

  • I became a teacher because I realized that I have fun learning and wanted to pass this love of learning on to others. The thing I enjoy most about my current job is that I have the ability to make everyone's job easier, even yours. Testing, while often a little bit annoying, helps you, the student to learn what you know and also what you don't.

  • I used to be the bowling coach and before that, the debate coach.

  • Other stuff about me: I am married and have a 8 year old daughter. I like to read books and play the occasional video game (Xbox). I also like to hike and camp. I went to college at UW-Madison, home of the Badgers. My favorite books of late have been non-fiction. A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson might be my favorite.
