December 2023 marks 82 years since the attack on Pearl Harbor. Learn more about that day and its aftermath, from the United States involvement in World War II to internment camps for Japanese Americans. We have many books from multiple perspectives and in different formats (historical fiction, non-fiction, graphic).
This week celebrates the freedom to read and spotlights attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. Many of the books you have enjoyed as a child and read in school have been challenged or banned!
