In this course, students will deepen and extend their understanding of algebraic, geometric, and statistical concepts addressed in Course 2, as well as study additional precalculus topics to prepare them for success in AP Calculus BC (or AB) next year. In addition to the four critical areas of emphasis stated above, this course will address: (5) characteristics of complex numbers; (6) parametric and polar equations; (7) logarithmic and trigonometric functions, including inverses; (8) analytic trigonometry; and (9) vectors. A graphing calculator is required for this course.
