This performance-based course emphasizes the importance of establishing smart financial goals and will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to responsibly manage their own money. Using curriculum materials developed by Next Generation Personal Finance students will learn the following topics as an extension from Personal Finance 1:

Taxes

Insurance

Investing

Behavioral Economics

Career

Budgeting


At the end of the semester for Personal Finance 2, students will use their knowledge from both classes to develop a personalized financial plan which will reflect their career and lifestyle choices
