What are constellations? 

Constellations are a combination of stars forming an imaginary picture you might be able to see on a good night. Most constellations come from ancient Greece. Currently there are 88 constellations you could see, the largest being Hydra, and the smallest being Crux. 42 of the 88 are named after animals, like Ursa Major and Scorpio.

Zodiac constellations are constellations that are shown in a specific part of the night sky, the zodiac. There are twelve original zodiacs, Scorpio, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Pisces, and Aquarius.
