The Russell Woman in Science Leadership Program
The Russell Women in Science Leadership Program (RWIS) supports undergraduate science students to accelerate the advancement of women in the sciences. If accepted as a Russell Scholar, you'll work closely with a member of the program's faculty to master research techniques you can put to work in the field.
Russell Scholars have the opportunity to work in the Chu research lab. Applications for 2022 Russell Scholars are now closed.

We will develop a game plan with you to pursue your research goals according to your aspirations and interests. Any Mills student that is required to take Directed Research (CHEM 179) is encouraged to discuss research opportunities with Dr. Chu.
