by the Shrewsbury Mountain School Third Graders in Ms. Clancy's Math Class
Third Graders in Ms. Clancy's math class used their data graphing skills to illustrate the emissions impact of getting to Shrewsbury Mountain School in the mornings.
Students learned about the effects of gas-powered transportation on our environment, noticed what methods are currently used to get SMS students and staff to school, studied how to represent and interpret data, and used the data to offer suggestions & encourage decision makers to change their morning arrival options/habits.
Finally, we presented our findings in a recorded PSA to transportation stakeholders, such as parents, teachers, and administration.
