In math we are currently working on addition and subtraction of decimals, as well as reviewing multiplication and division of whole numbers. Once we wrap up this unit we will be moving on to multiplication and division of decimals.

In ELA we are starting our unit on the making of a scientist, and reading the book Holes. The students will learn the art of taking notes while they read. In 5th grade we focus of the deeper meaning of the text, and understanding the author's message.
