Dear Spring Valley Families,

We are so fortunate to be part of a fantastic team of educators, students, families and staff at Spring Valley during this incredibly challenging time. We are excited to share our distance learning plans with you and appreciate your support and collaboration as we work to ensure that all students continue to learn as Star Stallions!

Attendance Expectations:

We greatly value student well-being and continued learning during this time. We expect that students will engage in Distance Learning on a daily basis. To assist school staff with monitoring student well-being and engagement, student attendance should be entered online daily by 9:00 am on the DAILY ATTENDANCE FORM here. You may also enter attendance through link sent in a daily email sent by the school. If your child is ill, please indicate this on the daily form. If you are not receiving emails. please ensure your email is correct by logging into your Parent-Vue account and making the appropriate changes.

Communication Plan

To help ensure that families are engaged and aware of school and classroom activities:

• Teachers will post assignments daily by 9:00am

• The principal will send out weekly messages with updates, school events and opportunities to connect.

Office Hours

School administration is available from 10am-12pm Monday through Friday via email for quick email responses. Emails that come in during other hours will typically have a 24 hour response time. Please contact me at kdor-reid@millbraesd.org
