Hello! My name is Lydia Bruckner and I am a photographer, videographer, and aspiring journalist. Photography tells a story like no other. From the visual expressions of the subjects being taken to the environment that gives my photos life, my reasoning and enjoyment for taking photos come from the stories I tell with them. Photos are meant to be a tool for bringing one another together and snapshotting moments that might've gone under the radar otherwise. Both of these tasks are the goals I desire to achieve every time I pick up a camera.
As a teenager, I have other interests that I have taken as my own other than photography. I am an avid music lover, as well as an artist and I enjoy creating other pieces of creative work besides those with a camera. Art mediums such as painting and drawing have been part of my life since childhood, and I give credit to this art for my introduction to film media. When I am not focusing on my education or journalism projects, you will find me holding an instrument and strumming to my favorite songs or buried in my sketchbook with colored pencils in hand letting my creativity flow.
