For 15 years, Star Behavioral Health Providers (SBHP) has equipped civilian mental health professionals with the knowledge and skills to better understand and address the unique needs of the military-connected community.
What began in one state has grown into a nationwide initiative reaching all 50 states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Today, the SBHP network includes over 3,600 providers, and since 2011, nearly 49,000 participants have been trained through more than 1,000 events—strengthening military cultural competence and access to high-quality mental health care across the country.
Begin your journey with SBHP today by signing up for Tier One: Introduction to Military Culture and the Military-Connected Experience training.
