AP SEMINAR
Mr. Monette
Mrs. Terashima
Welcome to our AP Capstone- AP Seminar page. We are excited that you are interested in pursuing the College Board's AP Capstone Recognition Diploma or Certificate. Please take the time to find out more about opportunities that await all prospective Capstone students by viewing the attached documents or by visiting the College Board's links.
Sophomores can choose to take AP Seminar instead of regular or enriched English classes. It will challenge students with college-level research and writing experiences and provide opportunities to receive college credits.
Juniors can choose to take AP Seminar as an English elective. NOTE: It should be taken concurrently with Expository Writing 1 and American Literature, AP Language, or AP Literature. It will prepare students for the rigors of college-level research and writing and provide opportunities to receive college credits.
Seniors can choose to take AP Seminar as their fourth English credit. Students do not have to be in pursuit of the AP Capstone Diploma to take this course. It will prepare students for the rigors of college-level research and writing and provide opportunities to receive college credits.
