Thank you for joining us for 21 Days of Homecoming!
Alumni, school groups, and other Mililani organizations and businesses are invited to join us in celebrating Homecoming by creating a Spirit Banner to be placed on the fence fronting MHS along Meheula Parkway.
In our Homecoming banner, we incorporated the words, “Mamba 2024, Go for the Gold,” to represent our class and the homecoming theme. On the bottom left and middle portion of the banner, there is a mamba wrapped around the trophy and a mamba that is twisted to form the olympic rings to also represent both our class pride and homecoming theme. In the middle of the banner, there is a pyramid with a trophy on top. That is to represent how we can always overcome the obstacles we face in life and reach our goal at the top of the finish line. The Trojan head on the trophy is to represent our school and community.
Get ready, set, go! The sophomores are going on an adventure to victory! Since our homecoming theme is The Trojan Games: Go For the Gold, we decided to create a board game based on a treasure map. In the middle of our map, we have an island in the shape of a leopard with a treasure chest as a symbol for us to “Go for the Gold”. It was inspired by the board game Jumanji. The board game symbolizes our class pride and our journey to the unknown. The treasure map is
filled with leopard images to represent our class pride; a leopard compass, a leopard in the top left corner, and our leopard island. On the top left side, there’s dice and scrabble pieces that spell out class of 2023. In the bottom right corner, we have Trojan coins, to represent our Trojan Pride. Even though we are the Leopards playing in the Trojan Games, we will always be mighty Trojans going for the gold!
Boasting our lion pride we have Lions front and center. We have our game faces on and are ready for any challenge. Featured on our banner are a variety of games. We have the classic scrabble, a game of connections and looking for opportunity. We have Pac-man, where strategy and experience are essential. Let’s not forget about the sports. Soccer, tennis, and basketball require agility and skill. All these qualities are present in each of our lions. We’re ready to put out our best and grab the gold medal of homecoming. Having a wide range of athletes and gamers, we’re ready for any challenge the other classes have for us.
Let’s go lions, let them hear our roar!
On the Senior Panthers Homecoming banner, there is a race coming to an end to represent many significant features such as, the incorporation of unity and perseverance throughout this challenging year with some friendly competition, along with the representation of each class drawing nearer to graduation as the days roll by. On this banner design, the Panthers are in first place because of their fast approaching graduation! The Senior class loves games, and to exemplify various types, they have added the Monopoly man to represent board games, the track representing athletic games, Isabellle, Pikachu, Minecraft blocks, and angry birds representing video games! There is something for everyone to love on the Panthers banner! The seniors Trojan pride is strong, as the MHS flag stands on the right side. In addition, their banner proudly hangs the Homecoming title “Trojan Games Go For The Gold” with “Class of 2021” written on the side.
