My name is Ms. Jenifer Hollander and I am teaching for my fourteenth year at Heron Pond. It is such a wonderful place to teach and learn. I spent eleven years of my career in second and third grade, and but I truly have found my calling teaching fifth grade!

I live in Merrimack with my partner and young son, as well as our three dogs. We love to travel in our RV and spend time fishing on our boat (well, I read while they fish). My partner and son even managed to reel in a blue-fin tuna weighing over 400 pounds off the coast of Cape Cod this summer!

Learning is my passion and I have earned two degrees from the University of New Hampshire. I graduated in 2006 with my B.A. in Psychology and in 2007 with my M.Ed. in Elementary Education. In May 2016, I completed a second master's degree program at SNHU to learn how to better integrate technology in the classroom, and then a couple years later earned my certification as a Library Media Specialist, both of which have enhanced my students' learning experience.
