The Milford School Foodservice Program provides breakfast and lunch at all Milford public schools in accordance with USDA and State regulations.
Foods are prepared by trained staff who strive to offer students high quality, nutritious, age-appropriate and kid-friendly meals. All school meals are served with a choice of entrée, fruits, vegetables, and low-fat milk. Students are encouraged to take all meal components and must take a minimum of an entrée choice and either a fruit or vegetable. A variety of whole-grain breads and rolls are available, as well as an assortment of low-fat and fat-free flavored and unflavored milk, 100% fruit juice, and regionally and locally grown whole fresh fruit, when seasonally available. WE also serve a colorful variety of vegetables.
For school year 2021-22, Milford Public Schools has opted to participate in the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) of the National School Lunch Program. Therefore, all student meals offered (breakfast and lunch) will be free of charge for this school year. Every student may have one breakfast and one lunch meal per day.
Middle and high school students who wish to purchase an additional lunch (beyond the free one) may do so. Middle school additional lunches will cost $3.25 each; High school additional lunches will cost $3.50 each.
In addition to the lunch choices, a number of snack items, such as cookies, ice cream, chips are available for purchase, depending upon the school. Healthier choices such as fresh fruit and vegetables, low-fat cheese sticks, yogurt, and milk are also available daily for purchase (beyond what is included in the free meal served daily). These snack items are intended to supplement and not to replace meal choices, as we encourage children to choose from the many meals available daily.
Student Meal Accounts with /Titan School Solutions
Titan School Solutions is the software company our foodservice program uses to provide student meal accounts for students to make cashless foodservice purchases. Titan School Solutions provides one website for parents and students to use to pay for school meals, check student account balances and view your child’s meal and à la carte purchases.
