Illustrated by Mrs. Laudenslager's 6th Grade Art Students
Mrs. Laudenslager's 6th grade artists created a visual articulation of Amanda Gorman's poem "A New Day's Lyric". They listened to the poem and reflected on it's meaning. Working in groups, they integrated their own personal histories and influences into their drawings. They then worked together as a team to photograph their images and create a WeVideo. To culminate their project, they added their own voices to share the powerful words of Ms. Gorman.
