In my time at Jonathan Law High School i spent a lot of time with our student-run online newspaper, The Advocate. Where I served as a Staff Reporter (Freshman year), Sports Editor (Sophomore) and the first ever junior to be an Editor-in-Chief, serving my EIC position again Senior year.
In Milford I also work for Milford Government Access TV, where I student broadcasted various high school sporting events, as the color commentary.
Additionally I was a host and a producer for The Morning Briefing, Law’s daily morning news show that is produced by Law’s Broadcast Journalism class.
This project was the senior video for Jonathan Law High School, Class of 2025. Over the course of the year our Broadcast Journalism class collected footage that captures senior year highlights — from pep rallys, Friday Nigh Football games, milestones, to man on the street videos asking, "Where will you be in 10 years?". I personally produced, edited, and organized the content to tell a cohesive story of our experiences, growth, and memories leading up to graduation. It’s meant to preserve what made this year special and serve as a tribute to our class’ journey.
During my senior year of high school I was in charge of running many different social media accounts for my high school. I created many different graphics for the accounts I ran, including: Game Day graphics, Athlete of the Month graphics, Upcoming Schedule graphics, and more. I have also created graphics for the girls swim & dive team, the girls & boys basketball teams, our school's Student Section account, and for our online newspaper, The Advocate. I also created an Independent Study with the school's Athletic Director and my Journalism teacher to have my own Sports Journalism class. During this class, I focus on creating graphics for our JLHS Athletics account or for the new LED scorer's table we have in our gymnasium.
