Mike Flom will be an exceptional advocate for your childs educational need no matter what they are. No matter how simple or complex it its. In our case it was very complex with a kid having ASD. We are looking for a private school placement paid by the district.

Mike was very very patient. Heard, understood the whole situation. Quickly figured the key actors in the school district, worked with the ABA team, went through their assessments and put out demands for the district. He is very non-confrontational, non-threatening towards the district but still got stuff done. We paid a fraction of the money we would have paid to a attorney and spend way less time to get the same result.

Just dont look no where else. If you go with Mike, you wont be looking back again.

We worked with Mike to help our daughter get the help and services she needed. She struggles with ADHD and dyslexia and wasn't getting proper help. Mike is an excellent special education advocate. He knows the laws and procedures, and he knows kids. He understood our child's complex disabilities immediately. He analyzed the situation correctly and knew how to proceed.

What sets him apart are his people skills. His background as a businessman and as a parent of a special needs child serves him well. He's an excellent negotiator. He brings calm to the IEP meeting table, handles objections with skill and grace, and guides the group to the right consensus. While he's truly collaborative with the CST, he's also tough when the situation warrants it. And he's a supportive coach to parents dealing with the stress of the system and their child's struggles. He was always responsive, reasonable, and fair.

With his guidance we were able to get our child what they needed, and our child is thriving. We could not have done it without Mike's expertise.
