Dear CAR Students,

As you know by now, NYC public schools will be closed until April 20th, 2020. While we hope to reopen, it is possible that schools could be closed for the rest of the school year. We are closing the building, but we are not closing our classrooms! We will be shifting classes to take place online.

Beginning March 23rd, 2020 you will resume your usual classes through Google Classroom and an online conferencing app called Zoom. Your teachers will be available online certain hours of the day Monday through Friday and will be posting assignments for you to complete daily. At the bottom of this page you can find a schedule of what time each teacher will be available.

We expect you to rise to the challenge of living through this exceptional time. You will have to be more responsible for your learning than you already are. You are going to have to practice discipline in a new way.

• Check your email everyday

• Make sure you are signed up for each of our classrooms

• Try to have a daily routine- wake up early and dedicate certain hours to certain tasks you must complete

• Do at least 30 minutes of exercise every day.

• Stay in contact with your teachers

We are here for you. Please reach out when you need us. Practice social distancing, follow what the Mayor and Governor advise and take care of yourselves,
