My house, my sanctuary. Located in Ohio's Historic Old West End
Shelly is a vibrant individual with a busy lifestyle. I live and work in Northwest Ohio, though I am originally from the east coast... born a "Jersey girl" and will always be "Philly proud".
Shelly is a vibrant individual with a busy lifestyle. I live and work in Northwest Ohio, though I am originally from the east coast... born a "Jersey girl" and will always be "Philly proud".
When not at work, you will find Shelly studying for her midwifery degree, assisting community midwives and Doula clients at births, or hanging out with family and friends in the Old West End. She shares her time with many, including her fiance Brad, three children, one dog, and three cats. Her professional life is a reflection of her varied interest -a cardiac sonographer, licensed massage therapist, birth doula, and midwives assistant. She is often a catalyst for organizing social events and intentional gatherings; such as Virtual Birth Circles, chairperson for the Old West End Social Committee, the chairperson for the Old West End Festival House Tours, and The Natural Living Festival.

As you can see, I have a wide variety of interest. Each of these career paths have helped me pursue different parts of myself and have shaped me into the person I am today. As my personal and professional paths continue to grow and evolve, I always take time to express gratitude and appreciation... life is what you make of it, and I am one determined gal. Each and every one of my achievements have occurred because I have pursued and gone after them. However, I do believe in divine intervention, paying attention to the signs, and intentional alignment with one's souls purpose. Ask yourself if you are doing the thing you were placed on this earth to do (or be), and if not, why not? Discover your barriers, dig your heels in, rise up, and do it. Pursue your passion(s)... I believe in you!
