Who is Michelle Moncrief?

Hello! My name is Michelle Moncrief. I am a faith based military spouse and a mother of 4. I have been a Certified Birth Doula through DONA and a CLC for 4 years now until I decided it was time for me to expand my profession. Pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and lactation is my passion. I strive to make sure I get the evidence-based education I need to be asset to my community in the future. Now I am studying at Midwives College of Utah to get my BSM (Bachelor of Science in Midwifery) and become a CPM (Certified Professional Midwife). This is an exciting journey for me because my main mission is to practice the Midwifery Model of Care and provide a holistic nurturing, physical and knowledgeable support about pregnancy, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, and newborn care to my community. I want to have each family walking into their birth experience feeling empowered and have the tools to achieve the birth they desire. Then walking out with their bundle of joy feeling secured for their postpartum journey. On my down time my hobbies are crocheting, spiritually fellowship, dancing, physical fitness, and family-oriented outings like camping. Let us show you how empowered you are! Let us be your safe space for your birth space. We are ready for you!

Peace, love, and blessings,

Michelle Moncrief, CD(DONA), CLC, Student Midwife
