The Midview Touchdown Club was established to help out the football program in many ways. The Club was and has been an integral part of the Middie Football program’s success. The Touchdown club is run by volunteers that are mostly parents of boys on the team. The Midview Touchdown Club provides the football program, grades 7 – 12 with a variety of different items to help them be the best they can be on the field. The Club has provided so much support through the years by the means of equipment, plaques, t-shirts, team dinners, opportunities for strength and speed training just to name a few. Each year, the high school players are equipped with top of the line shorts, shirts, hooded sweatshirts and socks paid for through the efforts of the Club. Additionally, the Jr. High teams are also equipped with their shorts and t-shirts through the TD Club. In 2014, the weight room was given a $40,000 upgrade and $10,000 of that came directly from the Touchdown Club and their efforts.
The Club meets once per month in the off-season and weekly during the season. Most meetings occur on Monday nights at the high school at 7:00PM. All parents and anyone interested in offering input to the Club are more than welcome at our meetings as your input is much appreciated. Our volunteers have not only been a huge part of raising money for the program, but have also volunteered an enormous amount of time. There is always a need for help with various things, whether it is team dinner, helping put up signs or helping the coaching staffs with various things. If interested in being a part of the club, please contact the Club’s president Drew Skolnicki. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, February 17th at 7pm in Coach Beal's room (room 405)
