NEWBATTLE PARENT COUNCIL NEEDS YOU
Do you want to have a say about all aspects of your child’s education?
Come along to the Newbattle Parent Council Meetings and have your voice heard. We urgently need new members to step forward and join our team otherwise we may not be able to continue. Your involvement will directly benefit your child’s school experience.
What happens at the meetings?
Meet with fellow parents, council leaders and head teacher to discuss any issues affecting the school and the pupils.
Raise any concerns or issues that you or others have come across in the school.
Celebrate the school’s successes.
Look at fund raising events for the school.
What’s the format of the meetings?
Usually held in the school but can be held on line or a bit of both, they’re 1 ½ hours long, 6 per year.
